It's almost a year since I asked Stephanie Jordan for permission to publish Following Sir Fred's Steps on the internet. It took forever to contact the various contributors. But people have been generous and I hope that Bruce Marriott will have the book online this autumn. Pamela May's memorial service will be on 19 September (St Paul's, Covent Garden at 2pm), and it would be really good to have some suitable chapters from Fred's Steps online before then.
