I think I might have liked Disley Jones. He was a theatre designer who died at the beginning of June and his Guardian obituary included this line. "As he grew frailer, he played old age as a rewarding character role."
I hit new levels of daftness yesterday with three classes in one day (Marguerite's in the morning and two back to back at the RAD last night). My body is in bits this morning. At the RAD class I am twice the age of many of the others (a subject on which I'm a bit touchy) and really begin to wonder how long I can sustain this, or when it reaches a stage when it becomes plain silly (or worse, undignified). But I don't think I can quite face a 'rewarding character role.....'
