I'm writing a piece for Dancing Times about teaching ballet to adults. Yesterday I interviewed English National Ballet's very impressive education officer, Natalie Brown (the pic above this post is of one of ENB's occasional arena 'rep' classes in the Albert Hall, when the company has a production there).
Natalie mentioned that she also teaches classes for homeless people - and they are ballet classes, not just movement therapy. She runs them in the spring and I think they might make a fascinating feature, perhaps in conjunction with Royston Maldoom's work with prisoners.
