The Nureyev Foundation's site now has a page of links to videos of Rudolf Nureyev in performance, one of them his memorable pas-de-deux with Miss Piggy on The Muppet Show/a>.
I guess these videos are hosted on YouTube with the Foundation's approval. All the more surprising then that Ballettalk is enforcing a strict ban on its posters referring in any way to Youtube. Whatever the ethical and legal issues about copyright, Youtube is becoming too big to ignore, especially as it is being enlisted by the British Government , such corporate players as NBC, and now, it seems, the Nureyev Foundation as well.
